Disclosure and editorial independence

At the time of writing, no link on this directory is a referral or affiliate link, and no referral program has been applied for. Vendors are linked plainly, to their own documentation.

If a referral program is ever used, three things will be true of every such link: it will go through a redirect on this domain rather than exposing a tracking URL; it will be marked rel="sponsored" and visibly labelled as a referral link; and the page carrying it will show a one-line disclosure near the link, not buried in a footer. Any commission would come from the vendor. If a referral link ever changed the price, promotion or terms offered to you, that difference would be disclosed next to the link.

What it would also not change is the content. Pages are written and reviewed before any program is applied for, and a verdict or a gotcha is never edited because a program was approved or rejected. Where the honest conclusion is that a gateway is a poor fit for a platform, the page says so, and no referral link would be shown for that pair.

The directory is written and maintained by Matt, the owner of UAT-Ops, who also consults on payment and API integration design through servicedesign.dev. The consulting link that appears on pages is a plain link to that site; it is not a referral relationship with any vendor.
